We started the trip at 7 a.m. to make a 5K for John in Hamilton. It was pretty fun. We haven't been able to watch him because they are always so early and the boys aren't quite ready on Saturdays. While we were waiting Tryston saw kids running the 1 mile and thought this might be a fun adventure for the Salinas Four. So, on Monday we started training. Maybe it was a good idea in theory... ;)
Then, we headed to Barton Springs (the boys favorite). This is a 60 degree spring fed natural pool. If you've followed my blog we've been here before. I, however, was not so much a fan until this trip. I did get in this time so I could get some good pictures. It was hard to get too many because of the mossy bottom, you catch my point. It was too fun watching the boys to really feel how cold it was. Plus, you gotta love the texas heat. It will always make 60 degree pools sound optional.

They also have an amazing playground. And a train that goes all through the park. We enjoyed a train ride and this is when we found our next stop...

(He's waving to our fans.)
...The big climing rock. We climbed over, around and through this thing. Once again it was SO much fun watching the boys. We actually got a good family picture too! I asked this guy who was sitting with this girl (nnoott real sure what they were smoking out of that bong up there, but all the more reason to ask for their help. Everything was feeling aaaa-oooo-kkkk. ;) LOL.) We had a blast. Thank you America for the day observed for those who are dedicated to the work (sarcasm).
Oh yeah, we also stopped at Chic-Fil-A. I'm a new BIG fan. I can count on one hand how many times I've been to one in my life (not for dislike, but geographics). Well, we left Asher's shoes in a haste to leave because of an "accident". So, I called them Monday to see if they would ship me he's shoes (luckily they still had them in lost and found) and I'd pay them to do so. They shipped them to us for FREE and sent us a coupon for a free meal. It pays to be absent minded ;). That was our fun...
