take a stroll or run a race.
Someday I'll walk across the street,
or maybe walk in space.
Someday I'll scale a mountain.
Someday I'll walk a tightrope,
or explore the ocean floor.
Someday these feet will do things,
that only Heaven knows,
but for today he's happy being in Mommy's and Daddy's arms.
Asher loves all sports, but his favorite has to be baseball. When he's playing he won't talk to you unless it's behind his glove so the other team (usually the Yankees) can't hear him. He nods off pitches and will let you know which pitch he wants (of course I do the finger signals, but have no clue what they mean). He is usually in full gear too: helmet, hat, batting gloves, glove, bat and ball (or 5). And if he's playing football he has on his flags, helmet and gloves (he wears sweat bands as "pads"). There is no half doing it with him and sports.

So, my first thought on this one is that he looks just like you Jen, but has John's silly smile! :-) He's such a cutie! I love his creativity with the sports; life's never dull with a child his age. But, please stunt his growing...I still want him to be little when I get to see him again!
Dear Asher,
You must come see your cousin J'Lee. She needs to be filled in with all these sports. Right now she likes ballet and singing. We need to toughen her up a bit. Can't you come over to our house for a bit. We would really love that. We miss you so much. You are growing up way too fast on us. I love you more than you will ever know. Tell your mom it is about time. She will know what I am talking about ;).
Love,
Aunt Diana
He is so cute! How fun!
