A Small Update ;)

Well, maybe not so small. This is my belly update. Isn't it great?! I think pregnant bellies are anyway. I also feel her move ALL the time. She makes me smile. We've noticed she gets pretty quite when we go out, but will move and move for us (she loves moving all day while I'm teaching too). I guess she's a little shy. For example, I'll be at my parents house the same time of night she goes wild at our house and she won't move at all. I'm sure soon enough though she'll be big enough there will be no hiding from everyone (her I mean, not me--no comments to that people). The kids at school are starting to ask more. Like will I be off when I have the baby (yes), will I bring her up to see them (hmm, maybe), what's her name (undecided on spelling...will post eventually), and of course before they knew she was a girl they voted as to what I'd have (the girls were quite excited to win).
And I'm SO fortunate to be teaching our sonographer's daughter while pregnant. Being her daughter's teacher has it's perks. Like 4D sonos everytime we've had sonograms (and she's a good student). I went in for a routine check-up (you know the drill...weight, heartbeat, measure, talk for 5 minutes and leave). Well, not this time. The sonographer had someone cancel so she stole me and did a sonogram. This little girl melted my heart. No lie, she was SO cute!! I know I'm bias, but you really should have been there and I think you'd see I'm telling the truth. Here's two pictures from our session.

And a few precious gifts we've already received. Also, some of my friends gave me girls things. It's awesome having people who need to get rid of girl things! :-) I've started filling her drawers.

You are just stunning pregnant!! It fits you so well. I wish I could be closer, to experience it with you. As for her shyness....she won't fit in the Salinas/Whiteman clan very well with that kind of personality... I'm sure it'll come out of her quickly, though! :-) And I see you've adjusted quickly to having pink things in your house, but then again, I knew you would! Love ya!
